The eight-episode Prime Video comedy behind the headline is Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the second-season installment of Jury Duty. It moves the franchise’s hidden-camera setup from a courtroom to a company retreat. Amazon says all eight episodes are streaming, but the claim that it is Prime Video’s “best show ever” is opinion—not a verified platform-wide ranking.
What is Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat about?
The season centers on Anthony Norman, a temporary assistant hired to help Rockin’ Grandma’s, a fictional family-owned hot sauce company, with its annual retreat. He arrives among coworkers who already have their own relationships and tensions, as the company faces a leadership transition. The situation around Anthony is staged, and the other participants are actors; he is unaware of the hidden-camera setup.

That premise links the season to the original Jury Duty, which followed Ronald Gladden as he believed he was serving on a real jury. Instead of a trial and jury room, Company Retreat uses a workplace gathering and its social dynamics as the setting for the concealed production. Amazon describes the franchise as placing ordinary people in staged situations surrounded by actors.
How many episodes are available, and where can you watch?
Company Retreat has eight episodes. Amazon’s current coverage says all eight are streaming on Prime Video. The first three episodes arrived on March 20, 2026, according to AOL’s March 24, 2026 coverage; the season is now available in full. Check the local Prime Video listing for current catalog availability and viewing terms, which can vary by country and change over time.

Is it really Prime Video’s best show ever?
There is no established all-time Prime Video ranking or audience measure in the cited coverage that supports “best show ever” as a factual claim. The phrase works as promotional or editorial enthusiasm, not as a verified service-wide verdict. A dated streaming-chart position is only a snapshot, not proof of enduring popularity or overall superiority.
There is favorable critical reaction to the season. Collider reviewer Meredith Loftus, quoted by AOL in its March 24, 2026 article, wrote: “More than familiar sitcom tropes and reality show shenanigans, Company Retreat highlights the compassion and kindness of one man.” That is one critic’s assessment, and it points to the season’s emphasis on Anthony’s character rather than establishing a consensus ranking.

What recognition has Jury Duty received?
The original Jury Duty received four Emmy nominations in 2023: Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for James Marsden. Those nominations belong to the original series, not to Company Retreat.
Amazon’s season-one guide identifies the original as an eight-episode series that premiered on Freevee on April 7, 2023. The season-two episode count and Prime Video availability are separate facts; the first season’s release details do not establish where it is currently available.
