Has Post Malone revealed his daughter’s name?
No confirmed full name appears in the cited reporting. ABC News said on September 12, 2025, that her name and exact birth date had not been publicly revealed. The Los Angeles Times reported the same omission when Malone first spoke about becoming a father in June 2022.
That means online guesses based on a nickname or initials should not be treated as verified. Neither Malone’s reported use of “DeeDee” nor the reported “DDP” tattoo confirms her full name.
What Malone has said about keeping her private
On June 13, 2022, during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Malone confirmed that he had a daughter. SiriusXM’s account of the interview quoted his reason for keeping details private: “I want to let her make her own decisions.” The Los Angeles Times also reported that he did not share her name or birth date at the time.

In that conversation, Malone also said he was engaged to the child’s mother. His public comments since then have offered glimpses of how fatherhood affected him, but have not supplied a confirmed full name.

“DeeDee” at the 2024 CMA Awards
At the November 2024 CMA Awards, Malone performed “Yours,” a song ABC News described as imagining his daughter’s future wedding. Afterward, he said, “We love you DeeDee, we love you so much.” This confirms that he used “DeeDee” to address her in that moment; it does not establish whether it is her given name, a nickname, or another affectionate form of address.

The Independent reported that Malone has the initials “DDP” tattooed on his forehead. The report does not establish what the letters stand for. Initials alone cannot identify a person’s full name, so assigning them a specific expansion would be speculation.

In 2024, Malone said fatherhood had changed his life and that his daughter and her mother helped him through a difficult period, according to The Independent. ABC News quoted him discussing the day-to-day nature of being a parent: “Well, being a dad, I take it a day at a time. I think it’s important that way. We’re learning every day.” ABC also quoted his description of his daughter: “She’s just the most beautiful creature to ever have existed on this earth.”
