What allegations were reported?
In late December 2023, journalist Nick Hausman’s podcast remarks about alleged behind-the-scenes issues involving Chris Jericho prompted online discussion. Coverage subsequently described a claim that Rae was invited to Jericho’s hotel room believing other people would be there, but reportedly found him alone, followed by an alleged unwanted advance. WrestleView attributed this account to reporting that it said drew mainly on F4WOnline; it is not an adjudicated finding or independently established fact in the reviewed sources. WrestleView’s account describes Rae’s heart-emoji response to a post implicating Jericho as an indirect reaction. That response should not be treated as a detailed first-person account by Rae.

What did Tony Khan say, and does it show AEW investigated?
At the December 31, 2023 AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum, Khan was asked about the allegations. WrestleView reported that he said, “I can’t speak to unsourced internet rumors,” and referred to AEW’s open-door channel for complaints and its disciplinary committee. The report does not establish that a complaint was received or that a specific investigation occurred. General comments about a complaint process are not evidence of what happened in any individual case.
What later events do—and do not—tell us
Kylie Rae’s return to wrestling
POST Wrestling reported that Rae returned to the ring at a Freelance Wrestling event in February 2024 and summarized her connection to the allegations as an online heart-emoji response. That report does not establish that Rae confirmed or retracted the alleged account.

Khan’s later praise for Jericho
In August 2025, POST Wrestling reported Khan praising Jericho’s contributions to AEW and Ring of Honor and saying he would welcome Jericho back. Those comments concern Khan’s view of Jericho’s contributions and standing; they do not say whether the allegations were investigated or resolved.
AEW’s roster listing
AEW’s roster page listed Jericho when accessed on October 7, 2026. A roster listing is employment and organizational context, not a finding about the underlying allegations.

What remains unestablished
The reviewed public sources do not provide a formal public finding, a detailed direct account from Rae, or a detailed public response from Jericho. They also do not settle whether Rae filed a formal complaint or whether AEW conducted a confidential review. The absence of a public result does not prove that no review occurred; equally, general statements about AEW’s process do not prove that one did.
