How did she get the name Ice Spice?
Published accounts trace the stage name to a fictitious Instagram account Gaston created at about age 14. Biography.com and TIME report this origin; it describes how the artist name reportedly began, rather than revealing a hidden identity. TIME and Biography.com provide the account.
Why is she associated with “Munch (Feelin’ U)”?
“Munch (Feelin’ U)” is a central reference in coverage of Ice Spice’s rise and public profile. Apple Music’s artist biography discusses the track. Her association with the song and recognizable online presence help explain why readers encounter her stage name so often; they do not make her real name unknown.

What does “mysterious persona” actually mean here?
“Mysterious persona” is a framing in the question, not an established biographical fact. The sources identify her name, Bronx connection, and reported stage-name origin, but do not establish that she deliberately conceals her private identity or maintains a hidden persona. Her public artist name and private life should not be treated as evidence of a mystery.
Biography.com says Gaston was born in the Bronx, New York City. That biographical detail provides context, but it does not change the answer: Ice Spice’s full name is Isis Naija Gaston.
