Christie Brimberry is best known as a Fast N’ Loud and Gas Monkey Garage personality. The clearest recent report about her life says she has focused on a Dallas-area beauty salon, but her current job or ownership role has not been independently confirmed. Her online bio still mentions Discovery and the show; that alone does not establish that she is working at the garage or that the series is continuing.
What is Christie Brimberry doing today?
A February 2026 profile from The Biography reported that Brimberry had focused on a Dallas-area beauty salon with her husband, Daren Brimberry, and said she opened a location in 2022. That is a secondary account: current salon ownership or employment is not confirmed by a first-party salon source in the available evidence. It is therefore more accurate to describe salon work as reported activity than as a verified present-day job.

Is she still at Gas Monkey Garage or on Fast N’ Loud?
Brimberry became publicly known through Fast N’ Loud and her association with Gas Monkey Garage. Her Linktree bio includes the wording “come see me on @discovery @fastnloudtv,” but the profile directory’s wording is not confirmation of a current garage position, active production, or a new season. A secondary account reported that Fast N’ Loud ended in 2020 after 16 seasons and 155 episodes; Discovery’s official archive was not checked to verify that chronology, so those figures should be treated as reported rather than definitive.
In short, the available information supports her past public connection to the show, not a claim that she still works at the garage. The Linktree page lists her social destinations and can change over time: Christie Brimberry’s Linktree.

What has she shared about her health?
A February 2026 report by The Biography says Brimberry was diagnosed with thyroid cancer around late 2016 and reported a cancer-free scan in December 2017. The same account describes effects on her vocal cords and airway. These are reported historical details; they do not establish her current health or whether she has had any later treatment.
A May 2026 secondary biography reproduced a sentence attributed to Brimberry’s December 2017 Facebook update: “I went through the last of my treatment last week, and had my one-year bone scan on Friday! The results came back today and I am CANCER FREE!!!” That is a historical quotation reproduced by a secondary source, not a current medical update. No present-day health status can be inferred from it.
