An Australian visitor known as Jacki described her night there in a TikTok, as reported by PerthNow on 22 July 2025. Her account included a quick exchange at the door, camera-covering stickers, multiple dance floors and intimate scenes. It is one person’s account—not an exhaustive or representative picture of the Berlin club.
What Jacki said happened during her visit
PerthNow reporter Amy Cavender reported that Jacki, then 29, posted a TikTok about visiting Berghain with her friend Jesse. The article said the video had more than 400,000 views when the report was published; that figure is a point-in-time claim by PerthNow, not a current view count.
According to the report, Jacki said they were admitted after a brief exchange with a door staff member and a bag check. She described stickers being placed over phone cameras and a large former industrial space with several floors and two dance floors that had different musical feels. These details are reported recollections of their visit, not a promise of what another visitor will encounter. Read the PerthNow report.
Her account of the club’s more intimate spaces
Jacki also said she saw some people change into revealing clothing and described sexual activity in parts of the venue, including areas she called boxes. Those are her reported observations. They should not be treated as a spectacle, a description of every visitor’s experience, or an invitation to watch, approach or record other people.

What official sources say about Berghain
Berghain has operated since 2004 in a former thermal power station, according to Berlin’s official tourism site. The site describes the main hall as focused on techno and Panorama Bar as having a more experimental, raw and dark atmosphere. That gives context to Jacki’s description of distinct music spaces, but does not independently confirm the layout or specifics of her visit. visitBerlin’s Berghain & Panorama Bar guide also states that photography is strictly forbidden inside.

The rule is part of a privacy-conscious club environment, not merely a practical detail of her night. visitBerlin frames Berghain’s door policy around a diverse, respectful mix and an atmosphere centered on music, community and freedom, within Berlin’s queer underground context.
What the reported prices do—and don’t—tell you

Privacy, personal space and consent
Berghain’s official awareness guidance asks guests to respect one another’s personal space and intimacy and to act only with mutual consent: “only yes means yes!” It says visitors can involve friends or staff after a negative or harassing experience, and warns that drugging someone is a crime and dangerous. The guidance also says offenders are removed and reported to authorities. Read Berghain’s awareness guidance.
Those expectations matter when interpreting any account of a night inside: other guests are people entitled to privacy and boundaries, not content. Jacki’s reported experience cannot establish how others experienced the club or what will happen on a future visit.
