Usman “SojaBoy” Umar and Kim Menzies are no longer together. Menzies said in September 2024 that their engagement had ended and that they had stopped communicating. In a March 2026 interview, she said they still speak sporadically and have “mutual respect.” In a May 2025 interview, Usman discussed a return to the franchise, a song he called “Dream Girl,” and plans to move to the United States. The most recent reporting available does not confirm whether the song was released, whether he moved, or whether he is currently in a relationship.
Kim Menzies: from engagement to occasional contact
The relationship that defined Usman’s 90 Day Fiancé run ended on screen. Us Weekly reported in a September 27, 2024 interview-based story that Menzies said she and Usman had ended their engagement and were cutting off communication. The outlet also reported that the breakup was announced during season 7 of Happily Ever After? (Us Weekly).
The most recent update on that relationship comes from Menzies. In a March 26, 2026 interview with Extra, she said she still spoke to Usman sporadically and that they had mutual respect for each other (Extra). That describes an ended relationship with occasional contact. It is her account, not a statement from Usman, and it is the latest relationship update found as of this writing.
Usman’s account of Lisa Hamme
In his May 25, 2025 interview with Muzique Magazine, Usman was asked about Lisa Hamme and replied: “I don’t talk to Lisa no more.” That is his own statement and is reported here as such (Muzique Magazine).

Back on screen: Hunt for Love and Happily Ever After
Usman discussed his return to television in the same May 2025 interview, pointing to 90 Day: Hunt for Love as the project he was talking about. Those remarks come from Usman, and the interview does not independently verify his production history.
His absence from Happily Ever After? was a separate matter. TLC’s June 12, 2025 announcement named eight couples returning for that season, and Usman was not among them. The season premiered July 6, 2025 (Warner Bros. Discovery Pressroom / TLC). That announcement covers only that season’s cast. It does not establish that he left the wider franchise, and his 2025 interview describes continued involvement with a different series.
