What happened to Gym Class Heroes?
The band has returned to public activity. A May 1, 2025, episode listing for The Joe Vulpis Podcast (Lightweights) described McCoy discussing Gym Class Heroes’ return after a 14-year hiatus and his career. The band’s current site now lists “Universal Language.” The available information supports a return to releasing music, not a claim that the group has resumed with its full historic lineup.
What happened to Travie McCoy’s neck?
An August 7, 2026, Zach Sang Show episode listing says a scheduled interview was rescheduled after McCoy broke his neck shortly beforehand, and that the interview discussed his recovery. The public listing does not say how the injury happened, what treatment he received, or what his current condition is. It should not be treated as a medical report.

What else did the 2026 interview listing mention?
The Zach Sang Show listing says depression was discussed, but it does not establish McCoy’s current mental-health status. It also mentions new Gym Class Heroes music, including “Universal Language.” The description is an editorial summary, not a transcript, so it does not provide a direct quotation from McCoy.
