Quick Recap
What to keep in mind about the timeline
- His later television update documented his progress and circumstances at that point; it should not be mistaken for a current update.
- TLC’s “over 400 pounds” figure is a reported amount lost during his journey, not a stated final weight.
- Reports about his mother’s death and the flooding of his apartment provide personal context, but the cited accounts do not establish either as a cause of his death.
