Fhima was heartbroken, but later said she picked herself up and moved on. She returned to reality TV in 2025 on Bachelor in Paradise; her connection with Gary Levingston was described as promising but complicated by distance, not as an established relationship. The latest sourced update on Fhima’s relationship with Turner, from August 2025, was that they were cordial but did not really have a relationship.
Why Leslie Fhima left The Golden Bachelor
In the November 2023 finale, Turner chose Nist. The Los Angeles Times’ account of the finale reported that Turner had told Fhima he loved her during the fantasy-suite period, then told her he had fallen in love with Nist and would choose her.
Fhima said she was heartbroken and challenged the contradiction between Turner’s earlier words and his decision. During the live reunion, she said she did not know whether she accepted his apology, but understood, and wished Turner and Nist well.
What Fhima did after the show
In a March 2024 update with Bachelor Nation, Fhima said she was not dating and was not making dating a priority, though she still hoped to find someone. She described a busy life that included traveling, teaching more fitness classes, working at a music venue, and spending time with her children.

Her Bachelor in Paradise connection with Gary Levingston
Fhima appeared on Bachelor in Paradise in 2025 and reconnected with Gary Levingston in Lake Tahoe. In an August 2025 interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune, she described him as charismatic and said they had a good time together. She also identified a practical obstacle: Levingston lived in Palm Springs, while distance separated them. Her comments were conditional—she thought they might go on dates if they lived in the same city—so the interview does not establish that they became a couple.
Fhima said she would consider another season of Bachelor in Paradise if she were single. She also expressed interest in Dancing with the Stars; neither comment confirmed future casting.

How Fhima described her recovery and relationship with Turner

On the same podcast, she characterized her relationship with Turner as cordial but distant: “I really don’t have a relationship with Gerry. If I see him, we’re fine. We are very cordial.” That is the latest sourced update found here on how the two got along.

What Gerry Turner said later
In an October 2025 interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune, Turner said he regretted how he had communicated with Fhima: “I would have tried to be more honest, even if it was unfortunate, in my communication with Leslie.” He also said Fhima was a favorite of his and that she was the first to congratulate him when his engagement to Lana Sutton became public. Those details about Fhima’s response are Turner’s account; the newspaper said it contacted her representatives for confirmation but did not receive a response.
