After the original The Hills ended, Justin Bobby—Justin Brescia—continued working in hairstyling and pursued music with his band BobbyrocK. He later returned to MTV in The Hills: New Beginnings. Those career chapters are documented, but public sources do not establish his current job, residence, relationship status or recent music activity.
Who is Justin Bobby?
“Justin Bobby” is Justin Brescia, the reality-TV personality who became part of The Hills. Brescia said the nickname came about after he asked Audrina Patridge to call him Bobby, his middle name; production heard “Justin” as well and combined the names. That is his recollection of how it happened, reported in 2016: the account of Brescia’s explanation.
What did he do after the original The Hills?
After the series ended in 2010, Brescia’s post-show work included hairstyling and music. Profiles published in 2014 and 2015 described both pursuits, alongside a hair product collection and salon ventures. Those are dated reports, not evidence that the businesses or products remain active. Complex’s 2015 profile and Bustle’s 2014 profile document that period.
He continued hairstyling
Brescia worked as a stylist, including work connected with musicians, according to Bustle. The same profile reported his Brush Your Hair by Justin Bobby Brescia collection. Complex later reported a hair product line and salon ventures. Neither profile verifies their present-day status.

He pursued music with BobbyrocK
Brescia also pursued music with his band BobbyrocK, including performances and touring discussed in interviews. He said The Hills exposure helped publicize the music but could complicate how venues saw him: in a 2018 interview, he called the attention “always an advantage,” while explaining that it could open some doors and close others. That is his assessment of the trade-off, not confirmation of the band’s current schedule. The interview discusses the effect of the show on his music career; a 2015 Complex interview also covers his view of the show.
Did Justin Bobby return to television?
Yes. Brescia returned to MTV reality television in The Hills: New Beginnings. A NYLON interview originally published in 2021 and updated February 20, 2024, discusses his participation in the revival: NYLON’s interview. This establishes that return, not a later project or his current television plans.

How did he describe his The Hills persona?
Brescia disputed the bad-boy image associated with his on-screen persona. In a 2015 interview, he described the series as “a drama based show, so if you didn’t have drama you didn’t have a show.” That is his characterization of the production and its format, not an independent finding about how the show was made. Complex’s interview includes his comments.

The available profiles and interviews establish a record of work and television appearances, but they do not provide a reliable account of Brescia’s life today. The latest material in this source set includes a NYLON interview updated in February 2024 and a September 2024 retrospective photo profile from TMZ; neither verifies his present residence, day-to-day occupation, relationship status, active businesses or recent music schedule. TMZ’s retrospective focuses on his The Hills fame rather than a detailed current-life interview.
