Why the early reports don’t settle the question
The two accounts disagree on how long the relationship lasted. Bravo’s early report describes about a year of quiet dating, while Us Weekly’s later retrospective describes six years on and off. The two can be read together, since a couple can date intermittently over a long period, but neither source explains the gaps. The 2017 Bravo report is the strongest evidence that the couple had split before that date, and the later account treats the relationship as one that stopped and started.
Whitney’s comments on the attention
In the early Bravo coverage, Whitney described the press interest in his relationship with Larissa in direct terms. Patricia Altschul’s 2025 comment
In March 2025, Patricia Altschul told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that Whitney might be seeing someone. She said, “I don’t know that anything is serious right now,” and referred to a “contender.” This is second-hand and does not name the person or confirm Whitney’s current relationship status. It should not be read as a statement about Larissa.

Audience figures in the Bravo coverage
