The physical fight later reported was between Williams and Keiana Stewart—not Candiace. The headline’s “petty” is a judgment, not an established finding about what happened or who was at fault.

So, although the incident is often discussed as a fight involving Candiace, the accounts cited here do not identify her as one of the two people in the physical altercation. Candiace’s reported exchange with Williams and the fight between Williams and Stewart are related parts of the story, but they are not the same event.

Why Deborah was already part of the tension
Williams was described as Ashley Darby’s friend. In a separate appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Ashley discussed why she brought Williams to Karen Huger’s live show while Candiace was there. Wendy Osefo’s account
On Watch What Happens Live, Wendy Osefo blamed Williams. Reality Tea quoted her as saying: “Deborah was 1000% percent at fault. She came over looking for trouble, threw a drink, and then all hell broke loose.” That is Wendy’s assessment, not a verified finding about the sequence or responsibility. What Candiace and Gizelle said at the reunion
Entertainment Tonight’s April 12, 2024 reunion-preview coverage reports that Candiace recounted Williams getting in her face.
