Where and when did the remarks happen?
Armstrong made the remarks during Green Day’s set at the FanDuel Party Powered by Spotify at Pier 29 in San Francisco on Friday, February 6, 2026. The event was part of the city’s Super Bowl week festivities.
How was the party connected to Super Bowl LX?
The party took place two days before Super Bowl LX. Green Day was scheduled to appear in the game’s opening ceremony, a separate performance from its February 6 party set.
