On October 25, 2025, streamer Emiru accused her former partner Mizkif of sexual assault, psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, and threats of blackmail. Mizkif responded in a livestream that day, acknowledging controlling behavior and aggression at times while disputing her account of the alleged sexual encounter and accusing her of neglecting their rabbits. Those are competing public accounts, not findings that establish what happened.
What did Emiru accuse Mizkif of?
In a Twitch livestream on October 25, 2025, Emiru said she was speaking publicly about what she described as psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail by Mizkif. Dexerto reported her remarks the next day. Her allegations should be understood as her account; the reporting does not establish them as facts adjudicated by a court.
Emiru also said she had been told Mizkif planned to accuse her of neglecting their rabbits, which died while the two were living together. Contemporary reporting connected her decision to speak publicly with being told of a similar alleged incident involving another person. That connection, too, was reported as part of her account, not independently verified evidence.
What did Mizkif say in response?
Mizkif responded in a livestream on October 25, 2025. In the response reported by Dexerto, he acknowledged that he had been controlling and aggressive at times. He disputed the context of the sexual encounter Emiru described and gave a different account of it. These statements are his response, not a court’s resolution of the disagreement.

What did Mizkif say about the dead rabbits?
Mizkif alleged that Emiru neglected the rabbits. Emiru, in turn, said she had been told he planned to make that accusation. The available reporting does not independently establish how the rabbits were cared for or what caused their deaths, so neither person’s account should be presented as a proven explanation.
What did the court recommend in the defamation case?
A court-document reproduction dated June 15, 2026, describes a magistrate judge’s report and recommendation in Mizkif Enterprises LLC v. Schunk, case 1:25-cv-01773. It recommended denying Schunk’s motion to dismiss, requiring a more definite statement, and dismissing without prejudice a claim against Hoyt. Those are proposed procedural actions at that stage of the case, not a final judgment on the underlying allegations.

In explaining the pleading-stage question, the report said: “Considering the gist of Schunk’s statement, which includes allegations of sexual assault, the Court finds that it was reasonably capable of a defamatory meaning.” That conclusion concerns whether the statement could carry a defamatory meaning under the standard being applied. It does not establish whether the alleged assault, blackmail threats, or other conduct occurred.

No. The June 15, 2026 report and recommendation addressed procedural issues in a defamation case, including whether a claim could proceed in its then-current form. It did not decide whether Emiru’s allegations were true or false. A magistrate judge’s recommendation is also distinct from a final ruling by the court; the document does not establish the lawsuit’s later disposition.
