Executive producer Cat Lawson says they can use the money as they choose and do not have to sign with a label or management company selected by the show.
How much did 3Quency win?
The winning band’s total prize is $500,000, divided evenly among its three members. That works out to about $166,666.67 per person before any taxes or other obligations that may apply; Netflix’s announcement describes the prize as a band award shared equally, not as three separate $500,000 awards.
Netflix Tudum’s season-one FAQ, published July 16, 2025, gives the prize amount and says it is shared evenly. Netflix Tudum’s post-finale coverage identifies the winners as 3Quency and names its members as Nori, Brianna, and Wennely.
Can the winners choose how to spend the money?
Yes. Lawson says the winners may use the cash for their careers or their personal lives, without a spending restriction imposed by the show: “They can spend it on whatever they want, whether that’s for their career or for their lives, whatever.”

Do they have to sign with a label or management company?
No show-selected deal is required, according to Lawson. She says, “They don’t have to sign to a particular label decided by us or a management company.” This describes the show’s stated condition; it does not establish whether the band may choose to enter other agreements independently.

The official prize explanation describes a cash award and does not identify an additional physical reward. It does not establish that instruments, recording equipment, merchandise, or a record deal are included.

The FAQ also mentions that contestants could choose from a range of around 400 cleared songs. That figure concerns the performances on the show, not an extra reward for 3Quency.
