Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas did not leave music when TLC’s original lineup ended. After Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in 2002, Chilli and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins continued as TLC. Chilli also built a television career spanning reality shows, hosting and acting; her latest role identified by current sources is co-host of Hallmark+’s Second Chance Love.
Did TLC end after Left Eye’s death?
The group’s original three-member lineup ended with Lopes’s death in 2002, but TLC continued as a duo. Chilli and T-Boz carried on performing and maintaining the group’s musical legacy. In 2017, they released new music after a long gap and were touring; that historical activity does not establish a current tour or a solo album schedule for Chilli. TIME’s 2017 interview describes that period and the duo’s continued work.

What television work did Chilli take on?
What Chilli Wants
Chilli produced and starred in VH1’s What Chilli Wants, a reality series centered on her life and dating. In a 2017 interview with TIME, she reflected that the music industry had changed and she did not feel comfortable trying to fit into that landscape at the time. The show gave viewers a personal, unscripted look at her outside TLC.
Fake Off and other unscripted appearances
Chilli later hosted truTV’s competition series Fake Off and appeared or participated in other unscripted and talk programs. These are television hosting and guest roles, distinct from her work as a recording artist. TV Insider’s career profile lists television credits.

Second Chance Love
Hallmark identifies Chilli as co-host of Second Chance Love with Matthew Lawrence. The Hallmark+ reality series follows people reconnecting with former partners. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on the show on February 10, 2026; it is the latest role established by the reviewed current sources. Hallmark’s cast biography and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution report identify her hosting role.
Did she act, too?
Yes. Chilli has acting credits separate from reality television and hosting. TV Insider lists appearances in A Diva’s Christmas Carol and Ticker, as well as Marshall, where she portrayed writer Zora Neale Hurston. The credit list is a useful overview, though it is a secondary source rather than a filmography maintained by a studio.

What business and brand work has she done?
Chilli’s public profile has also included business and brand activity. An Essence profile described a Bags by Chilli handbag line and a skincare spokesperson role. Hallmark’s biography names partnerships with Dasani, L’Oréal and Herbal Facefood. These sources document past or source-described activity; they do not establish that the handbag line or any specific partnership product is currently available.

In TIME’s 2017 interview, Chilli explained why she did not try to adapt to the music industry’s changing landscape: “After that, the industry really started to change. I don’t come from that world, and I didn’t feel comfortable trying to fit into it at that time.” Her path was not a clean break from music: she continued with TLC while taking on television and other projects.
