There is no single nationwide SEC Network channel number on Comcast/Xfinity. Your number depends on the local lineup, TV package and whether you are looking for the HD or standard-definition feed. Use Xfinity’s address-specific channel lookup, or search “SEC Network” in the X1 guide, for the authoritative listing at your home.
Find SEC Network on your Xfinity service
- Open Xfinity’s Channel Lineup page.
- Select the address-based lineup option, such as Find My Channels.
- Enter your service address or ZIP code, or sign in when prompted.
- Search the results for SEC Network, SEC Network HD or SEC Network National.
- Check that your TV package authorizes the channel, not merely that it appears in the market lineup.
On an X1 box, press the voice button and say “SEC Network,” or type the network name into the guide search.
Why Comcast channel numbers differ
Comcast systems use local channel maps. The same network can therefore have different numbers in different cities, and HD and SD feeds may be separate listings. Documents may also show an overflow feed or alternate IPTV designation. Lineups can change after local reorganizations or programming agreements, so an old channel list is not a dependable national guide.

Is SEC Network included in Comcast TV?
Comcast announced SEC Network distribution to Xfinity TV customers at the network’s 2014 launch (Comcast announcement). Current access still depends on your local lineup and television package. Xfinity’s channel and package page warns that lineups vary by area and can change. Do not assume that a channel number found online—or a listing visible in a generic lineup—means your account can view it.

What SEC Network carries
SEC Network is ESPN’s college-sports network focused primarily on Southeastern Conference programming. Not every SEC event airs there: individual games can instead be scheduled on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC, ESPN+ or another outlet. Search the specific event in the guide if the game you want is not on SEC Network.
If SEC Network is missing or blocked
- Absent from the lineup: Confirm the address and search both the main and HD names. Your local system may not carry the feed or may use an overflow listing.
- Listed but unavailable: Check whether your account’s TV package includes it. A channel can appear in the market map without being authorized on your plan.
- Guide seems outdated: Restart or refresh the X1 box and check the current address-specific lineup again.
- The game is elsewhere: Look up the event rather than assuming every SEC game is a SEC Network broadcast.
- Temporary service issue: If the listing and package are correct but playback remains blocked, contact Xfinity to check authorization or a current programming problem.
- Using Flex or another internet-only device: Those products do not provide the same linear Xfinity TV channel access as a qualifying TV subscription.
Can you watch SEC Network online with Xfinity?
Eligible customers may be able to use Xfinity Stream or authenticate on participating network sites and apps, but device and program availability vary. Xfinity distinguishes internet-delivered ESPN/SEC content from a normal X1 guide channel in its SEC/ESPN FAQ. Its network-app guidance also says access requires qualifying Xfinity TV service and does not guarantee every network or program on every platform. Installing an app alone does not replace the subscription authorization for the linear SEC Network feed.
