The report includes two campaign-attributed attendance figures: an estimate of about 20,000 people and a later final count of 23,000. These are reported event figures, not independently audited counts. The Guardian also described the crowd as about 20,000, attributing the estimate to the campaign.
Why was Springsteen at the Harris rally?
Springsteen used the speech to endorse Harris and Walz and oppose Trump and J.D. Vance. He said he wanted a president who would revere the Constitution, protect democracy, uphold the rule of law and peaceful transfer of power, defend a woman’s right to choose, and pursue a middle-class economy serving all citizens.
