Blake Lively’s February 2025 amended complaint alleged that two other women connected with It Ends With Us felt uncomfortable with Justin Baldoni’s conduct. The women were not named in the complaint as described in contemporaneous reports. These were allegations in a legal filing, not findings by a court.
What the amended complaint alleged
The complaint described one cast member raising concerns in May 2023 with Sony employee Ange Gianetti and a producer. According to the pleading as summarized by CBS News, Baldoni later acknowledged that cast member’s concerns in writing and indicated changes would be made.
The complaint further alleged that the cast member later told Lively that concerns continued, and that a second cast member confided that she, too, felt uncomfortable. The women were unnamed; the complaint said their communications were not included to protect their identities. Variety’s account also described the allegation as involving two other women on the production.
What each side said about the allegations
Lively’s lawyers said the amended filing contained contemporaneous evidence and corroboration. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, disputed that characterization, calling the account “unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons” and arguing that Lively lacked actual evidence, according to CBS News. Those statements represent opposing legal positions, not a court determination about the women’s accounts.

What the court did—and did not—find
In a July 16, 2025 order addressing claims against Jed Wallace and Street Relations, Inc., U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed those claims without prejudice on personal-jurisdiction grounds. In recounting the complaint’s narrative, the judge made clear that it was not a finding by the court: “The narrative set out below ‘do[es] not reflect the Court’s own findings’ but simply repeats the account of events stated by Lively’s Amended Complaint.” The order is reproduced by Justia.
That distinction matters: the order’s retelling of what Lively alleged did not verify the allegations. The complaint’s account and the defendants’ responses must be kept separate from judicial findings.

How the case proceeded
Lively filed the amended complaint on February 18, 2025, adding Wallace and Street Relations as defendants and adding a defamation claim tied to public statements, according to contemporaneous coverage. Variety described the filing as 141 pages.
The case later narrowed: a judge dismissed most claims in April 2026, and the parties settled the remaining dispute on May 4, 2026, averting trial, according to The Associated Press. AP reported in June 2026 that disputes over costs and related relief remained in litigation after the settlement. The settlement therefore ended the remaining dispute between the parties without resolving every collateral issue.
