When will Wednesday Season 3 come out?
There is no confirmed premiere date. Netflix Tudum’s September 30, 2026, report announced that filming had wrapped but did not give a month, quarter, or year for the release. Any claim that Season 3 is definitely arriving in 2027 should therefore be treated as speculation, not a Netflix announcement. Netflix Tudum’s production-wrap report is the official update.
Has Season 3 finished filming?
Yes. Netflix said production wrapped on September 30, 2026. The season had been filming near Dublin earlier in the year: Netflix reported production underway there on February 23, 2026, and its wrap report said filming had returned to the Dublin area. The report’s behind-the-scenes image hints at Paris, but Netflix did not confirm Paris as a setting or filming location.
When production began, co-creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar thanked fans for their patience, adding that fan theories had inspired them. Their comment acknowledged the wait; it did not set a release date. Netflix Tudum’s February production update has their statement.

Why is the wait continuing after filming?
A filming wrap confirms that production is complete; it does not establish when the finished season will be ready to premiere. Netflix’s announcement gives no release schedule or further timing details, so there is no reliable date to infer from the wrap alone.
The showrunners have described what they hope to deliver, rather than when viewers will see it. Gough said the aim is to make the best season possible and to dig deeper into the characters while expanding Wednesday’s world and Nevermore. Millar said viewers will see more Addams family members and learn more family secrets. Netflix’s wrap report includes both comments.

Netflix has named several returning stars and new arrivals, though some newcomer roles remain undisclosed.

All eight episodes of Wednesday Season 2 are available on Netflix, according to the Season 3 wrap report. Netflix has not announced a Season 3 episode schedule or said whether it will use the same release format as Season 2.
