Where was the dam stunt filmed?
The central climb takes place on the spillway of the Karahnjukar Dam in Iceland. The campaign pages identify the location and describe the challenge, but do not provide a full production itinerary or filming dates.

What are the figures in the film?
JLR’s 2022 campaign announcement describes the spillway ascent and conditions using these figures:
- 193 metres: the length of the spillway ascent, as reported by JLR.
- 750 tonnes per minute: the water flow down the ramp, as reported by JLR.
- 90 metres: the drop at the base of the spillway, as reported by JLR.
These are manufacturer-published campaign figures. The cited campaign material does not independently verify the measurements, so they should be understood as JLR’s description of the stunt rather than independent test results.

What did Hawkins say about the challenge?
Range Rover’s official UK capabilities page attributes this comment to Hawkins: “We wouldn’t have achieved what we needed to achieve without the right vehicle — and without me feeling confident driving that vehicle. Many features in the car enabled me to carry out this stunt, but I really liked the All-Wheel Steering.” The statement is a participant’s campaign comment, not an independent engineering assessment. Is this the 2026 Range Rover Sport?
No. The film introduced the third-generation Range Rover Sport in 2022; it is not a commercial for a 2026 model. Range Rover’s current Iceland page shows local-market trims and petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and SV categories, but that lineup does not establish which version appeared in the film. Can the stunt be treated as a real-world driving demonstration?
The film documents a manufacturer-produced campaign challenge, not instructions for ordinary drivers. Its official pages describe what the campaign depicts; they do not establish that the maneuver can be safely reproduced outside the production.
