A 2024 report says creator Malik “Leaks World” Ambersley, known online as NPC Miles Morales, was placed in handcuffs after a parking-garage altercation. It does not confirm that he was formally arrested; the report says that outcome was unknown.
What happened in the parking garage?
In a report published August 9, 2024, Dexerto’s Dylan Horetski described a video of Ambersley in a parking-garage fight that went viral the day before. According to Horetski’s account of the footage, Ambersley chased another person, security intervened, and police arrived and placed him in handcuffs. The report identified Ambersley himself as the original source of the clip. Read the Dexerto report.
This account is what the report says about the posted footage; it does not independently establish the events beyond that account. The report also said Ambersley had not addressed the situation by publication time.
Was NPC Miles Morales arrested?
That was not confirmed in the contemporaneous report. Horetski wrote: “It’s also unknown if he was actually arrested or if he was just placed in handcuffs and detained for a short amount of time.” The distinction matters: being handcuffed does not, by itself, establish that someone was formally arrested.
