A viral video report describes a woman leaving a vow-renewal event after her husband pushed cake into her face—but it does not confirm that she filed for divorce or that a divorce was granted. The available account comes from a September 25, 2024 Distractify report about a TikTok clip posted by Kayla, @kayla.g21.
What the video report says happened
Distractify describes the setting as a vow-renewal event. In the clip, the couple are holding cake and appear to disagree about whether to smear it on each other. The wife had asked that they feed each other cake without smearing it, according to the report. Her husband then pressed cake into her face.
Afterward, she objected. The report says he defended the act by referring to their wedding night; she replied that she had been angry then, too.
How the friend intervened
Kayla, identified by the report as a friend wearing a pink dress, steps in. She tells the husband, “No, it’s not a joke. Jokes are supposed to be funny.” The report says she then smears cake on his face and asks whether he finds it funny.

What the report says about the woman’s response
The woman later removes her ring, hands it to her husband, and leaves the event, according to Distractify’s account of the clip. Kayla’s on-screen narration characterizes the incident as the last straw and says the husband had repeatedly disrespected his wife. That is narration attributed to Kayla, not independently verified information about the couple’s history.
Was there a divorce?
The report supports saying that the woman left after the confrontation and removed her ring. It does not establish that she filed for divorce, that a court granted one, or what happened to the couple afterward. The word “divorces” in the viral-video headline therefore should not be read as a confirmed legal outcome.
