Tyler Oakley and Haliey Welch were listed on the official Featured Creator roster; Oakley was also scheduled for the June 19 Opening Celebration. This is an archived recap: the convention, meet-and-greet signup period and related giveaway have ended.
Who was at VidCon 2025?
VidCon’s official Featured Creator roster included Tyler Oakley and Haliey Welch. That confirms both were named among the event’s Featured Creators, but the roster alone does not establish that either appeared in a particular session. The official schedule separately listed Oakley as a participant in the Opening Celebration on Thursday, June 19.
Visit Anaheim reported that more than 200 Featured Creators were part of the Community Track. That figure describes the creator roster and programming, not the event’s attendance.
What happened at the convention?
The three-day Anaheim convention paired creator appearances and fan activities with programming for people interested in making online content. Its official schedule and YouTube’s event guide show a mix of live events, competitions, workshops and panels.

Community Track and Expo Floor
Visit Anaheim described Community Track programming, creator meet-and-greets and Expo Floor experiences. The floor included branded activations, shopping, swag giveaways and photo opportunities. These activities made the convention more than a sequence of stage sessions: attendees could also take part in fan-facing experiences throughout the venue.
How did VidCon 2025 meet-and-greets work?
For the 2025 event, eligible holders of multi-day Community, Creator or Industry Track tickets could use VidCon’s signup system to select up to two Featured Creators per eligible ticket. The signup window ran May 13 through June 16, 2025, and is now closed. Signup eligibility did not mean a creator meeting was available to every attendee; selection was subject to the event’s process and availability. See the VidCon Anaheim Help Center instructions for the historical signup details.

Those were past opportunities, not current offers. In announcing the giveaway, VidCon Vice President Sarah Tortoreti said, “Fandom is at the core of what makes VidCon special, and we can’t wait to bring the experience of a lifetime to a handful of lucky fans.”
