“New Staff, New Secrets…New Stassi” is the listed title of Vanderpump Villa Season 2, Episode 1, which premiered on April 24, 2025. Its setup brings former employee Stassi Schroeder back in a VIP role, while Lisa Vanderpump welcomes guests and a mix of familiar and new staff to Castello Rosato, a 12th-century castle in Italy.
What happens in the Season 2 premiere?
The premiere establishes a new setting and a returning face rather than a scene-by-scene plot summary. Lisa Vanderpump is preparing bespoke experiences for guests at Castello Rosato, and Stassi returns in a special VIP capacity. The episode’s broad setup also introduces a staff group that combines returning workers with new arrivals.
The title supplied for this recap, “Stassi Makes A Comeback,” captures the headline hook. The episode listing uses the formal title “New Staff, New Secrets…New Stassi.” Available episode descriptions do not establish specific confrontations, dialogue, secrets revealed, or outcomes, so those details cannot be responsibly presented as a verified recap.
What changes in Season 2?
A castle in Italy replaces the previous setting
Season 2 moves the series to Castello Rosato, which Hulu describes as a 12th-century castle in Italy. Lisa curates bespoke guest experiences there, giving the season a different backdrop for the staff-and-hospitality format.

Stassi returns as a VIP
Stassi Schroeder is back, but the season description identifies her as a VIP rather than as a returning employee. Her presence is the premiere’s clearest connection to the show’s earlier cast, alongside the mix of familiar and new staff.
The bonus is a season-long premise
Hulu’s 2025 season material frames the competition around a $30,000 bonus for one standout staff member over the season. That is a season-wide incentive, not evidence that the premiere awards the money or determines who will receive it.
