Ante Chamber, the Vampire Survivors collaboration with Balatro, launched on 28 October 2025. The DLC costs nothing; its in-game unlock begins with a 50,000-gold purchase from a merchant in Moongolow.
What Ante Chamber adds
Poncle’s official FAQ lists four Balatro characters, four weapons and four weapon evolutions, along with a new music track. The 28 October 2025 Steam announcement also describes the Ante Chamber stage and Survarots: character-themed bonuses that change stats and abilities.

How to unlock the crossover in-game
The DLC is free, but access to its content involves an in-game purchase and an unlock chain. According to poncle’s release announcement, visit the special merchant in Moongolow and buy the Joker Disk for 50,000 gold coins. Then follow the unlock chain that starts in the Ante Chamber stage. The gold is an in-game cost, not a payment for the DLC.

Platforms and co-op
Poncle’s current FAQ lists Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Epic Games Store and Apple Arcade as platforms for Ante Chamber. The release announcement’s launch calendar gave staggered dates: Steam, PlayStation and mobile on 28 October 2025, then Switch and Xbox on 31 October. Those dates describe the original rollout, not a current schedule.
The FAQ says local co-op is supported and any character can be used on any stage. At launch, poncle said online play with DLC required every player in the room to own that DLC; that was the announcement’s stated condition, not confirmation of a current policy.

Why the games crossed over
Vampire Survivors had already appeared in Balatro’s Friends of Jimbo 1 cosmetic pack, which replaced face-card portraits with Vampire Survivors characters. Poncle describes Ante Chamber as a thank-you to Balatro creator LocalThunk and publisher Playstack.
