Visitors could explore the studio’s historic building, performance capture studio and an exhibit about its games and 15-year history—but not its production floors. Ubisoft reported that more than 7,000 people attended. The studio is not listed in the current Doors Open Ontario season, and no return date has been established.
When and where was the exhibition?
The exhibition ran Saturday and Sunday, May 24–25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ubisoft Toronto, 224 Wallace Avenue, #200, Toronto. It marked the studio’s 15th anniversary and was part of the citywide Doors Open event, which was free to attend. Ubisoft’s May 9, 2025 announcement described the event and its planned offerings.
What could visitors see inside?
The historic studio building
The site is a commercial building dating to 1922. The announced tour highlighted its brick-and-beam interior and rooftop water tower.
The performance capture studio
Visitors could see the 12,000-square-foot performance capture studio, which Ubisoft described as having 30-foot ceilings, scaffolding and stunt beams. Performance capture uses actors’ movements to help create the motion seen in games.

Can you visit Ubisoft Toronto during Doors Open this year?
The 2025 exhibition has ended, and the Doors Open Ontario listing says Ubisoft Toronto is not part of the current season’s program. The official Doors Open Toronto overview lists May 23–24, 2026, under the theme “The World in a City!”; those dates and that theme describe the 2026 citywide edition, not a confirmed Ubisoft opening. Check the current official program for any future studio appearance.

What visitor details should you check for a future event?
Arrangements can differ by year and venue. Before visiting any future Doors Open site, confirm its listing for dates and hours, admission, which spaces are open, and whether tours are guided or self-guided. The Ubisoft Toronto listing has described photography as allowed and self-guided tours as available in its site details, but those details should not be assumed to apply to a future event without checking that year’s listing.
