Ubisoft announced the game in July 2023 as an expansion of the Invincible franchise into video games. How does the gameplay work?
Build a team of five
Players recruit familiar characters from the Invincible universe and assemble a five-character squad. The team can combine attackers, defenders and support characters. Characters can be leveled and equipped with gear; Ubisoft’s launch description also highlights artifacts, missions, events and weekly objectives.
Let battles progress in the background
The idle format means battles can continue while the player is away. Ubisoft also describes GDA operations or multi-battle progression, allowing squads to advance through more than one battle during that time. The emphasis is therefore on choosing and improving a team as well as actively checking in, rather than controlling every fight moment by moment. Ubisoft’s launch announcement outlines these systems.

Is the story based on the comics or TV series?
No specific comic storyline or television episode is identified as the game’s source. Ubisoft describes a new campaign set in the same universe, with players joining the Global Defense Agency under Cecil Stedman. Its launch premise includes a mystery involving clones and stolen burger meat. Characters Ubisoft names include Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man and Titan. What did Ubisoft and Skybound say about the collaboration?
