Jackie arranged the attack on Dwight’s Lincoln Navigator, acting behind Thresher’s back. Mark, Tyson’s father, is caught in the explosion but survives. The ending gives viewers an answer that Dwight himself has not yet reached.

Who bombed Dwight’s Navigator?

Jackie arranged the white Prius attack. The episode’s reveal shows that he acted without Thresher’s knowledge, so the bombing should not be described as an order Thresher knowingly gave. The recap says Jackie wanted to stop Thresher from talking about Dwight, but does not establish a more detailed motive or explain the bomb’s construction or placement. Ready Steady Cut’s October 27, 2024 recap identifies Jackie’s role.

What does the ending reveal—and what does Dwight know?

The audience sees Jackie’s involvement, while Dwight is still trying to identify who was responsible. That gap is central to the ending: viewers know the answer, but Dwight’s investigation has not caught up with what they have seen. The official Paramount+ synopsis frames the episode around that investigation: “Dwight and crew try to identify who’s responsible for the recent attack.” Paramount+’s Season 2 listing

Dwight considers possible rivals, including Bill, but the recap says he suspects the obvious answer may be too easy. That uncertainty belongs to Dwight’s point of view; it does not change what the audience has been shown about Jackie.

Does Mark die in the explosion?

No. Mark, Tyson’s father, is caught in the Navigator explosion but survives the episode. His injury and Tyson’s response make the attack personal for the crew, not just another threat to Dwight.

Why does Tyson’s reaction matter?

Tyson’s grief and guilt push him toward an impulsive response. The episode signals that his choices could put people around him at risk and widen the conflict. It does not resolve that danger into a new answer about who arranged the bombing; Jackie’s role is the reveal, while Dwight and the crew are still dealing with the attack’s consequences.
