Why a generic “French Open livestream” answer is misleading
- Coverage differed between countries; U.S. rights cannot be assumed elsewhere.
- A service carrying the tournament did not necessarily carry every court or quarterfinal.
- A website stream could require a pay-TV login even when the webpage itself was free to open.
- A live broadcast, full replay, condensed replay and highlights are different products.
- The match is historical, so a present-tense livestream headline would incorrectly imply that it is upcoming.
