Online estimate sites publish conflicting numbers, but none of the reviewed sources provides financial records or a transparent, Van Leeuwen-specific calculation. The figures should be treated as estimates from their respective publishers—not as established fact.
What net-worth estimates are published online?
Three estimate pages give materially different answers. Their published figures are not supported by disclosed records of Van Leeuwen’s assets, debts, earnings, or financial agreements.

| Publisher | Published estimate | What the page establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Celebrity Net Worth | $8 million | The site says its figures are estimates drawn from public sources, sometimes supplemented by private tips or feedback. It does not show a Van Leeuwen-specific calculation or supporting financial documents. |
| CelebsMoney | $100,000–$1 million | The page describes a proprietary algorithm and use of public sources; it presents no verifiable financial records for Van Leeuwen. |
| People AI | $2.49 million for 2026 | The site says its figures are generated from social factors and can differ substantially from actual income. This is not a financial disclosure. |
The estimates are incompatible, and none establishes what Van Leeuwen owns or owes. Averaging them—or deriving a new figure from career length, album sales, touring, or endorsements—would not solve that problem: those facts do not reveal his personal share of revenue or his net assets.
What is known about Van Leeuwen’s career?
Yamaha’s artist biography documents Van Leeuwen’s work with 60 Cycle and Failure, contributions to recordings by Korn, Coal Chamber, Deadsy, and Crazy Town, his joining A Perfect Circle, and his move to Queens of the Stone Age as second guitarist during the Songs for the Deaf tour. These credits establish a substantial music career, but do not establish personal wealth.
#1 Best Overall
Yamaha’s April 12, 2005 press release described the SA503TVL as a signature guitar developed with Van Leeuwen. It also reported that Queens of the Stone Age’s Lullabies to Paralyze sold more than 97,000 copies in its first week. That is a band-album sales figure published by Yamaha in 2005, not a measure of Van Leeuwen’s royalties or income.
Interviews offer further context, not financial disclosure. In a Fender interview, Van Leeuwen recalled learning 30 Queens of the Stone Age songs in a week when he joined and discussed his recording approach. In a 2007 Seymour Duncan interview, he discussed guitar and lap steel, studio and touring gear, and serving the song. Neither interview states his earnings or net worth.

What can readers conclude?
The available material supports a clear distinction: Van Leeuwen’s career and a signature-guitar collaboration are documented, while his actual assets, liabilities, income, royalty participation, touring compensation, and endorsement terms are not disclosed in these sources. No reviewed source provides a verified net-worth figure, so any number should be attributed to the estimate site that published it and labeled an estimate.
