Forbes Australia estimated Trey Parker’s net worth at $1.2 billion in an article published July 26, 2025. That is a published estimate—not an audited balance sheet or a confirmed measure of his cash and personal assets. Forbes reported the same estimate for his South Park co-creator, Matt Stone.
What is Trey Parker’s estimated net worth?
The most recent individual estimate identified here is Forbes Australia’s $1.2 billion figure, published July 26, 2025. Forbes tied the estimate to the value and revenue of Park County, the production company Parker and Stone own, rather than presenting a public accounting of Parker’s personal holdings, debts, taxes or liquid assets. The estimate should therefore be read as an informed valuation, not an exact current balance.

Why is the estimate so high?
South Park and Park County
Forbes reported that Parker and Stone own Park County, which handles income from their television, film and stage projects. South Park is central to the business behind the estimate. Paramount/Comedy Central said the creators had written, directed and edited every episode since the series premiered in 1997. That record documents Parker’s creative role; it does not, by itself, establish his personal wealth.

The 2025 Paramount agreements
Forbes reported that a revised Paramount agreement would pay at least $250 million per year. The Los Angeles Times described the Park County streaming and production agreements as worth more than $1.25 billion over five years and said streaming compensation was counted toward that overall deal. These are reported company agreement values, not Parker’s individual take-home pay.
The Los Angeles Times corrected an earlier version of its story that said the creators would receive nearly $2 billion; its corrected account put the combined agreements at more than $1.25 billion. The corrected figure is the one to use.

Net worth, deal value and earnings are different figures
- Net-worth estimate: Forbes’s $1.2 billion is an estimate of Parker’s wealth, not an audited total of assets minus liabilities.
- Company deal value: The more-than-$1.25-billion figure covers reported Park County agreements over five years. It is not money paid to Parker alone, and streaming compensation is included in the overall figure.
- Annual payment: Forbes’s report of at least $250 million per year describes the revised Paramount agreement, not Parker’s personal annual income.
Likewise, a possible business valuation is not the same as a completed sale price. None of these figures reveals how much Parker personally receives after the company’s obligations, taxes or other costs.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Comedy Central paid Park County $12,500 per episode during South Park’s inaugural season. That is historical context from the show’s early run, not a current rate or a meaningful estimate of Parker’s present income.
