Travis Kelce joined FX’s horror drama Grotesquerie, created by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. FX credits him as Ed Laclan. The series follows a detective and a nun investigating a string of heinous crimes—and it is not part of American Horror Story.

Who does Travis Kelce play?
FX’s cast page credits Kelce as Ed Laclan. There is a spelling discrepancy on FX’s own site: a behind-the-scenes feature description calls the character Ed Lachlan. The cast-page credit is Ed Laclan; the alternate spelling appears in the feature description. FX’s cast page and its behind-the-scenes feature use those respective spellings.
Is Grotesquerie part of American Horror Story?
No. The Associated Press reported that an FX spokesperson clarified that Grotesquerie is not under the American Horror Story umbrella. It is a separate FX horror drama. AP’s May 8, 2024, casting report also said Kelce appeared in on-set videos posted by cast member Niecy Nash; in the announcement video, he said, “Jumpin’ into new territory with Niecy.” The Associated Press report covers the casting and franchise clarification.
