Ximena Duque anunció en junio de 2024 que dejaba Monat, la compañía de venta directa con la que había estado asociada, y que iniciaba un “nuevo comienzo”. Al principio no nombró a la nueva empresa. Según People en Español, el 2 de julio de 2024 se supo que se había unido a Farmasi, otra compañía de belleza de venta directa.
Qué anunció Ximena Duque
El anuncio tuvo dos momentos separados por unos días. Primero llegó el mensaje de salida de Monat, a mediados de junio de 2024. Después, el 27 de junio de 2024, People en Español publicó un video en el que Duque se mostraba muy emocionada y hablaba de estar registrándose en su “nueva casa”, sin revelar todavía el nombre de la empresa. La nota reproducía además su frase “¡Me dan ganas hasta de llorar!”, que aparece en el titular de esa cobertura.
El tono fue más personal que polémico. La cobertura no describe una denuncia, un conflicto legal ni una crítica a los productos de Monat. Lo que existe es la explicación que Duque dio para su salida.
Su explicación para dejar Monat
Según la versión que People en Español recogió al informar la salida, Duque dejó la compañía porque la dirección que estaba tomando ya no coincidía con la razón por la que se había unido. En sus palabras:

“Me voy porque la dirección que la compañía está tomando ya no se alinea con la razón por la que yo me uní en su momento y ahora mi misión es encontrar una compañía que tenga lo que busco para seguir transformando vidas”.
Esa es su motivación declarada. No es una causa verificada de forma independiente: ninguna fuente que se haya podido revisar detalla qué cambios concretos de estrategia o de gestión sustentan esa afirmación. Conviene citarla como lo que es, la explicación personal de la protagonista.

Esa descripción es la que la cobertura de julio de 2024 ofrece; no se trata de una evaluación de calidad de sus productos, y tampoco de una comparación con Monat.

Lo que sigue sin confirmarse
La afiliación de Duque a Farmasi se informó en 2024, pero eso no equivale a una confirmación vigente. Un texto secundario publicado el 2 de octubre de 2026 (FAQ Box) afirma que hubo cambios posteriores y un regreso a Farmasi. No se encontró una declaración primaria, como un comunicado de la empresa o un mensaje directo de Duque, que permita verificar esa cronología. Por eso, la situación actual de su relación con cualquiera de las dos compañías no debe darse por establecida a partir de esa fuente.
Si un lector busca la situación presente, la verificación útil es revisar comunicados de Duque en sus redes sociales oficiales y la información que publique cada empresa, con su fecha.
