Tracker’s “Do No Harm” pairs a revenge case with a quieter character thread: Reenie’s memories of her kidnapping return, and a brief conversation with Colter recalls the more regular presence they once shared. The episode aired March 15, 2026, and its central mystery turns on a sharp reversal: the missing doctor is not the person being held captive.
What happens in “Do No Harm”
Spoilers below.
Doctor Evelyn “Evie” Martell vanishes after her shift. Randy sends Colter Shaw to Kansas City, where Evie’s sister, Janie, says she has not come home. At the hospital, Colter learns that Evie froze during surgery and may have taken a sedative. Security footage shows her leaving in disguise, complicating the initial assumption that she is simply missing.

Colter follows clues through a bar, Josh Greyland’s home and Josh’s abandoned BMW. Blood, a bullet and an empty lorazepam vial point him toward a different explanation: Evie may have taken Josh, not the other way around. The trail connects her actions to an assault at a college party by Josh and Victor Christopher.
The investigation ends in a violent confrontation. Colter reaches Victor and Evie and shoots Victor to save her. Evie later recovers in hospital, where Janie and Colter talk about how to support her. CBS’s official synopsis describes the case as a missing doctor, stolen drugs and disguises tied to a revenge plot; the detailed events above come from the episode review.

Why the case’s reversal works
The mystery gains momentum by shifting the question from “Who took Evie?” to “What is Evie trying to do, and why?” Her disguise and the evidence at Josh’s car turn a disappearance into an investigation of her choices. That reversal does not make the violence uncomplicated: the episode ties her actions to past harm while still showing the danger of the revenge plot as it reaches its climax.
Reenie’s story gives the episode its nostalgic note
Alongside Colter’s case, Reenie struggles as memories resurface from her kidnapping in season 2’s “Rules of the Game.” She tries to continue a real-estate matter involving Maxine and her assistant Mel before speaking with Colter. Their exchange is brief, but it gives the episode a welcome reminder of their earlier, more regular onscreen presence.

That moment is the review’s strongest character-level argument for wanting more Colter and Reenie together. It is not a claim that the episode resolves Reenie’s trauma or changes the show’s direction; rather, the scene makes their connection feel worth returning to even while Colter continues to work solo.
