NCIS’s official synopsis for “Hardboiled” does not say naval information has gone missing. It says Torres receives intelligence from a confidential informant about top-secret naval information that is at risk of being sold. The episode is NCIS Season 22, Episode 7.
What happens in “Hardboiled”?
CBS describes the case this way: “Torres receives intel from a confidential informant regarding top secret naval information that’s at risk of being sold.” That makes the premise an espionage-adjacent investigation involving sensitive naval material and a possible sale. The official synopsis does not identify the informant, explain what the information contains, or say who might sell it.

Why the “missing information” wording is unconfirmed
The phrase “missing naval information” is not supported by the official episode synopsis. CBS describes information at risk of being sold, which is different from saying that it has disappeared. The synopsis also does not establish further details about the case or the sneak-peek footage.
