Tom Hardy said he had no regrets about the creative choices in Venom: The Last Dance, describing the material he and director Kelly Marcel selected for the film as deliberate: “But there’s nothing left out. It’s surgically chosen and delivered.” His comment addresses what the filmmakers chose to include; it does not disclose the ending’s plot events or confirm that Eddie Brock and Venom will never appear again.
What did Tom Hardy say about Venom 3?
In a Screen Rant interview about Venom: The Last Dance, Hardy was asked whether there was anything he had wanted to explore during his time with Venom that did not make it into the third film. He said the film reflected the creative direction he and Marcel chose, praised her imagination and work, and described the material as intentionally selected. As the interview excerpt republished by IMDb News has it, Hardy said: “But there’s nothing left out. It’s surgically chosen and delivered.” IMDb News

In context, “nothing left out” is Hardy’s view of the film’s chosen creative material—not a claim that every possible story thread or character idea appears on screen.
Does that explain how Eddie Brock’s story ends?
No. The available interview excerpt discusses Hardy’s satisfaction with the film’s creative choices, but does not describe the ending’s events. It therefore cannot establish what happens to Eddie Brock or Venom in the final scenes. Treating Hardy’s comment as an ending synopsis would go beyond what he said in this excerpt.
#1 Best Overall
- In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel?s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.
Does “final film” mean this is the last time Venom can appear?
The interview identifies Venom: The Last Dance as the third and final installment in the Venom trilogy. That makes it the trilogy finale; the description alone does not establish that the characters can never appear in a later film or other project.

- Hardy’s stated view: he had no regrets about the material selected for the movie.
- The creative context: he described the film’s direction as a collaboration with director Kelly Marcel and praised her contribution.
- The ending’s plot: the excerpt does not spell out what happens to Eddie or Venom.
- The franchise’s future: calling this the trilogy’s final installment does not settle whether either character could return.
