What the original trailer introduces
MobLand is a crime drama about the Harrigans and the Stevensons, rival London crime families. Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, a fixer connected to the Harrigans; Brosnan plays Conrad Harrigan, the family’s patriarch. Helen Mirren plays Maeve Harrigan. The central setup puts Harry in the orbit of the family conflict while Conrad stands at its center.
At the opening of the original trailer, Conrad says, “Name’s Conrad Harrigan – family man,” followed by, “if you cross my family, well, you’d better pray.” The lines are dialogue spoken by Conrad, played by Brosnan, not comments from Brosnan about the series.

Who made the series
Guy Ritchie directed the first two episodes. Ronan Bennett created the series and wrote it with Jez Butterworth. The first season has ten episodes, and premiered March 30, 2025.
How the original trailer differs from the season-two trailer
The March 4, 2025 video is the series-launch trailer: it introduces the show and its Harrigan–Stevenson conflict. It is distinct from Paramount+’s season-two trailer, announced August 13, 2026, to promote the next chapter. Paramount+ announced that season two would premiere globally September 18, 2026. The service announced a season-three renewal on September 3, 2026. Those later updates are not part of the original trailer’s release context.

Series context and audience figures
In an April 2025 Associated Press report, Hardy described wanting to work with Ritchie again: “I was really keen to go back and work with him because he’s a fellow Brit and he’s done quite incredible work,” Hardy said. “I wanted to go and play with him, actually, and see what that was like now I’m older, and it was good fun.” Mirren told the AP, “Tom’s involvement in it was one of the reasons I signed up because I’ve admired his work over many years.”
Paramount+ reported 2.2 million global viewers on premiere day and 8.8 million in the first seven days in 2025. At its 2025 season-two renewal announcement, the company reported 26 million viewers to date. These are company-reported figures, not independent audience measurements.
