Tito’s official site identifies the three men as his sons with Delores “Dee Dee” Jackson. The same site lists four children in total: Taj, Taryll, TJ and their sister, Tiki. Tito Jackson’s official heritage page records that he died on September 15, 2024.
What does each brother do?
Taj Jackson
The eldest brother works in photography and directing, with film, television and music among his projects, according to 3T’s official biography. Taj’s own profile says he formed 3T with his brothers when he was 12. The group signed with Sony early in its career, and its song “Didn’t Mean to Hurt You” appeared on the Free Willy soundtrack, according to Taj’s official biography.

Taryll Jackson
The middle brother is a musician who writes, composes and produces for 3T and other artists, according to the group’s biography. That profile also describes him performing with Tito and his uncles Jackie and Marlon as The Jacksons; the page does not date that career detail, so it should be understood as a profile statement rather than a guarantee of current touring activity.
TJ Jackson
The youngest brother is a musician. 3T’s biography says he is married to Frances and has four children. Biography.com, in a profile last updated in 2020, reports that TJ became a co-guardian of Michael Jackson’s children with Katherine Jackson in 2012.

How did the brothers become 3T?
Taj, Taryll and TJ’s shared musical project is 3T. Their official biography says their father recognized their musical ability when they were young and their uncle Michael Jackson supported the group and signed it to MJJ Music. Taj’s biography dates the group’s formation to when he was 12.
3T released its debut album, Brotherhood, in 1995. The group’s biography says it contains 12 songs, including “Anything,” “Why” and “I Need You.” Tito’s official site also identifies the album as a 1995 release.

The group’s official biography reports that Brotherhood sold more than three million copies worldwide, “Anything” sold more than two million copies worldwide, and 3T had five UK Top Ten hits. It also reports that the 1997 Brotherhood tour comprised 27 dates across seven European countries. These are figures published by the group’s official site, which does not state when the biography was published; the sources cited here do not provide independent audits of the sales figures.
What happened in 3T’s later career?
After the Brotherhood era, the official biography traces further releases and appearances: “Stuck on You” in 2003; the album Identity in several European countries; appearances on ITV’s The Big Reunion and a UK tour in 2014; and the album Chapter III, released in the United States in 2015 and globally in 2016. The group’s biography does not specify the European countries for Identity.

How did the brothers honor their mother?
Tito’s official site says the brothers launched the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation in 2015 in tribute to their mother. Taj’s official biography also describes the foundation as created by the brothers that year. In 2015, 3T appeared in Lifetime’s The Jacksons: Next Generation, according to Tito’s site.
