Tin Soldier is a 2025 action thriller about a former member of a militarized, cult-like group who returns to its compound on a government operative’s mission—and to search for his missing wife. Directed by Brad Furman, the film stars Scott Eastwood, Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro and runs 86 minutes.
What is Tin Soldier about?
The Bokushi leads a group that draws veterans with promises of purpose and protection, then trains and arms its followers. When the leader’s conflict with authorities reaches a standoff, government operative Emmanuel Ashburn recruits Nash Cavanaugh, a former follower, to return to the compound.

Nash brings insider knowledge and a personal history with the Bokushi. The mission is also personal: he is looking for his missing wife. Samuel Goldwyn Films describes the setup as a former soldier returning to face the man he once followed and search for his wife. This is the film’s fictional premise, not a report about a real organization or veterans generally.
