What changed for TIM Black customers?
TIM’s customer notice says the free Deezer Premium benefit on the recipient’s plan has ended and offers Premium for R$17.90 per month. For that notice, billing was due to begin in August 2026; the timing and offer shown to an individual customer may differ by campaign. There is a separate change for TIM Black Família dependents. TIM says their free benefit ends in August and offers Deezer Family for R$17 per month, with up to six independent Premium profiles. These amounts are prices in the cited TIM offers, not a universal Deezer price or a guarantee that the same campaign remains available. Check the price and first billing date in your own Meu TIM account or formal notice before accepting.

Who is affected—and who may not be?
The clearest indication is a direct TIM notice saying the included benefit has ended. Customers on older or renewed offers may also find their eligibility differs from what they expected, but TIM does not publish a complete public list of every affected customer or offer version.
The TIM Black name alone does not establish whether a line qualifies. TIM’s FAQ lists selected TIM Black and TIM Black Família offers, along with some TIM Beta, TIM Controle Premium, and TIM Ultrafibra offers, as including Deezer Premium at no additional cost. - A Deezer Free account by itself does not prove that the benefit was permanently withdrawn.
How to check your line and restore an included benefit
- Open the Meu TIM app or website and review the line’s plan details, benefits, and any Deezer notice.
- Compare that information with your plan regulation, contract, or renewal confirmation. Do not rely only on the TIM Black brand name or a general marketing page.
- If the benefit is listed as active, open TIM’s Deezer activation page. Choose TIM for a mobile plan or TIM Ultrafibra for a residential plan, enter the TIM number with area code to receive an SMS, then log in to the correct Deezer account or create one. TIM’s Deezer activation instructions
- If Premium does not appear, allow up to 48 hours for activation. Confirm you are using the Deezer account linked to the offer; try logging in by email, then log out and repeat activation.
- If Meu TIM shows the benefit as active and it still fails, contact TIM at *144 from a TIM mobile line or 1056 from another phone. You can also contact Deezer support with screenshots of Meu TIM showing the active benefit and the relevant line details.

What the replacement costs and how to avoid an unwanted charge
The individual offer cited by TIM is R$17.90 per month. One TIM campaign page specifies activation by sending DEEZER by SMS to 8000; another TIM customer page uses QUERO to 4148. For the family offer, TIM cites R$17 per month for up to six profiles. Its notice says the account holder activates it and that billing starts on the next invoice if the offer is accepted. Check the notice and activation screen for the charge date that applies to your line.
- Do not send an activation SMS or accept an offer unless you intend to add the recurring charge.
- Check your next TIM invoice after activation to confirm the amount and billing start.

Why customers are criticizing the change
Customer posts and complaints describe surprise at losing a benefit they expected to be part of TIM Black, reports of Premium disappearing after renewing or changing a plan, and uncertainty about whether the loss is permanent. The family change creates a further practical concern: dependents cannot activate the replacement through their own numbers, so access depends on the account holder choosing and activating the offer. For customers who regarded Deezer as part of their plan’s value, a new charge can feel like a reduction in what they receive.

No. TIM’s notices concern the terms of particular customer offers, not the end of the companies’ relationship. Deezer announced on May 7, 2026 that the companies had expanded their strategic partnership. TIM also continues to advertise selected current plans with Deezer included.
