Announced on October 8, 2025, it keeps the core Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, battery, charging system and camera hardware while adding House Targaryen styling, a heat-sensitive rear panel, themed software and collector-focused packaging.
That makes the buying decision straightforward: fans may value the design and presentation, while ordinary phone shoppers should compare its price with the standard realme 15 Pro 5G rather than paying a premium for performance that launch coverage does not establish.
What the limited edition actually is
realme describes this as its first fully integrated Game of Thrones phone partnership. The concept draws on Westeros, dragons, fire and ice, with House Targaryen branding throughout the hardware and software. The collaboration is built on the realme 15 Pro 5G platform, not on a new flagship chipset or camera system.
The licensed elements are concentrated in the industrial design, interface, packaging and accessories. The official product page is realme’s India Game of Thrones edition page; launch reporting from Android Central and Gadgets 360 likewise identify it as a themed variant of the regular phone.

| Market or source | What is established | Buying implication |
|---|---|---|
| India | Launched October 8, 2025; â‚ą44,999 was reported; the July 15, 2026 listing showed unavailable. | Use realme India or an authorized seller; confirm current stock and warranty. |
| Mexico | realme published a regional product page: realme Mexico. | Check local price, SKU, network bands and box contents. |
| Taiwan | realme published a regional product page: realme Taiwan. | Confirm local release status and service coverage. |
| United States | No official US retail availability is established by the cited launch material. | Importer listings are not proof of US distribution; verify compatibility and warranty before purchase. |
realme’s regional pages warn that functions, software and release timing can differ by market. A US import can also involve different 5G bands, charger certification, taxes, language or payment-service limitations, and no local repair support.
Design: Dragonfire Black and the color-changing back
The signature finish is called Dragonfire Black. It combines a black leather-style rear treatment with House Targaryen imagery, nano-engraved and CNC-machined details, and dragon-claw decoration around the camera area. The retail presentation is also part of the collaboration and may include a themed box, display stand or other accessories depending on the market.
How the rear changes color
Heat-sensitive particles in the rear surface create a visual transition from black toward red when the panel warms, including from ordinary hand contact. This is a thermochromic design effect, not a battery or processor-temperature warning. The official page confirms the color-changing treatment but does not establish a universal temperature threshold or guarantee how long the effect lasts.

The effect should be understood as reversible rather than permanent discoloration. Do not test it with a flame, hot water or other excessive heat. A thick, opaque case can hide the finish, so case choice directly affects the feature you are buying; durability, pocket snagging and fingerprint resistance require hands-on testing rather than marketing imagery.
Hardware specifications
The following are the officially promoted or launch-reported specifications. Memory, storage and some panel details are market-dependent.
| Component | Reported specification | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 | Official realme page and launch coverage. |
| Display | 144Hz curved panel, 1.5K-class resolution | Marketing description; a database lists 1280 Ă— 2800, so confirm the regional SKU. |
| Battery | 7,000mAh | Official realme figure; verify whether a local listing specifies typical or rated capacity. |
| Charging | 80W wired | Official realme figure. |
| Main camera | 50MP Sony IMX896 with OIS | Official realme figure. |
| Ultrawide camera | 50MP | Official realme figure. |
| Front camera | 50MP | Official realme figure. |
| Water and dust resistance | IP69 | Manufacturer-listed rating; it does not make liquid damage impossible or guarantee warranty coverage. |
| Cooling | 7,000mm² VC system | Official realme figure. |
| Software at launch | Android 15-based realme UI generation | Confirm the installed version and update policy in your region. |
| RAM and storage | Market-dependent | Third-party records conflict: one lists 8GB/128GB while another references 12GB/512GB. Do not treat either as universal. |
realme also advertises 0–50% charging in 25 minutes, 0–100% in 61 minutes, 6,500-nit peak brightness, 4,608Hz PWM dimming and 2,500Hz instantaneous touch response. These are manufacturer or laboratory claims, not independent measurements.
What changes in the software
The phone adds Ice and Dragonfire themes, themed icons and wallpapers, and Game of Thrones-inspired lock-screen and interface treatments. realme’s materials also show custom camera filters such as Kingdom and Northland, plus franchise-oriented charging, sound, boot or always-on-display elements where supported by the regional software build.
Availability of individual effects can vary by region and software version. Before buying, check whether the installed realme UI lets you switch to a standard theme, disable animations and sounds, or remove themed elements. Launch coverage confirms the customization but does not establish one universal disable switch or identical preinstalled content in every market.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Performance, battery and cameras versus the standard phone
There is no established hardware-performance advantage over the regular realme 15 Pro 5G. Launch coverage describes the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform and broadly the same display, battery, charging and camera proposition. The 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging are substantial practical features, but they are not exclusive Game of Thrones upgrades.
The 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical stabilization, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP selfie camera are likewise standard-platform hardware. The collaboration changes the presentation, not the underlying camera class. Buyers seeking a stronger telephoto system or a longer software-support commitment should compare other phones at the same price.

| Packaging | Special presentation and possible collectibles; contents vary by market | Standard retail package. |
| Price | â‚ą44,999 was reported for India; current stock was unavailable in the July 15, 2026 listing | Varies by market and promotion. |

What should be in the box?
Do not assume every country receives the same bundle. Depending on the market or retailer, the package may contain the themed handset, special box, protective case or other themed accessory, a display stand, charger, cable, documentation and SIM tool. Confirm the exact contents on the local product page or seller invoice; an importer may substitute or omit items.
Who should buy it?
A good fit
- Game of Thrones and House Targaryen collectors.
- Buyers who want a distinctive rear design and themed presentation.
- People already satisfied with the regular realme 15 Pro’s battery and Snapdragon performance.
- Fans who intend to display the box or use the phone as a conversation piece.
A poor fit
- Shoppers seeking the best camera system or longest software support for the money.
- People who dislike branded icons, animations or decorative hardware.
- Buyers in countries without official sales, warranty or parts support.
- Anyone paying a large resale premium on the assumption that “limited edition” guarantees appreciation.
Import checklist
- Confirm that the seller is authorized and that the device is new, genuine and not modified.
- Check the exact RAM/storage SKU, software version and included accessories.
- Verify IMEI registration, supported 4G/5G bands and carrier compatibility.
- Confirm charger plug, voltage certification, local language and payment-service support.
- Get written warranty terms, repair options and liquid-damage exclusions.
- Add tax, shipping and possible return costs before comparing the total with a standard realme 15 Pro.
Verdict: a fan edition, not a performance upgrade
The realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition makes sense when the Dragonfire Black finish, Targaryen details, themed interface and special packaging are worth more to you than an equivalent standard phone. Its internal platform remains essentially the realme 15 Pro 5G, so the premium buys licensed design and collectability rather than extra speed. Availability, memory, storage, software effects and box contents must be checked for the specific region and seller.
