Lewis Hamilton’s most visible commercial relationships include IWC Schaffhausen, Tommy Hilfiger and PUMA, alongside brands connected to his Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One career. This is an editorial top 10 based on visibility, longevity, product distinctiveness and reader interest—not an audited ranking of fees or a complete contract register. A Mercedes team sponsor is not automatically a current personal endorsement.
How this top 10 is defined
No authoritative source publishes Hamilton’s ten most valuable endorsements or a complete current list of his contracts. The entries below therefore separate personal ambassador roles, product collaborations, team sponsorships and partnership extensions. “Current” means the cited brand material still describes the relationship; “historical” means the available evidence concerns an earlier team or campaign period.
| # | Brand or partnership | Relationship type | Category | Reader status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | IWC Schaffhausen | Personal brand ambassador | Luxury watches | Long-running relationship; Pilot’s Watch products |
| 2 | Tommy Hilfiger | Global brand ambassador | Fashion | Brand newsroom still describes the role |
| 3 | PUMA | Brand ambassador and Formula One partner activity | Sportswear | Personal status after the cited release is not established |
| 4 | Monster Energy | Hamilton-associated campaign | Beverage | Historical LH44 product |
| 5 | Bose | Mercedes-era team sponsor | Audio | Team association; no separate current personal deal established |
| 6 | PETRONAS | Mercedes title and technical partner | Fuel and fluids | Primarily a team relationship in the available evidence |
| 7 | Mercedes-Benz / Mercedes-AMG | Driver and team relationship | Automotive | Central to his racing identity, not automatically a retail endorsement |
| 8 | IWC Formula One film activity | Brand partnership extension | Film and entertainment | Not a separate watch endorsement |
| 9 | TommyXLewis collections | Co-created product collaboration | Apparel | Distinct purchase-led capsule format |
| 10 | Hamilton-era Mercedes partner ecosystem | Historical sponsor portfolio | Multi-category | Useful context, not proof of ten personal contracts |
The partnerships, explained
1. IWC Schaffhausen
IWC says Hamilton became a brand ambassador in 2013. In releases dated 2 and 4 July 2024, the Swiss watchmaker described the ten-year partnership and connected him with its Pilot’s Watch line and Formula One storytelling. IWC’s wording also notes that the brand became the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team’s Official Engineering Partner in 2013, so the ambassador relationship and team role sit alongside each other.
2. Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger’s Lewis Hamilton newsroom page, accessed in 2026, describes him as a global brand ambassador. That language supports a direct personal relationship rather than merely a logo appearing on a racing car. The brand’s fashion focus also makes this one of the most visible consumer-facing partnerships in his portfolio.

A 2019 PUMA corporate press release identifies Hamilton as a brand ambassador and places him within the company’s Formula One partnership activity. That is direct brand evidence for the cited period. It does not, by itself, establish that a separate personal PUMA contract remains active today, so current campaigns and product pages should not be treated as proof without newer confirmation.
4. Monster Energy
The LH44 drink was a Monster Energy product associated with Hamilton. Because the Mercedes relationship changed after the 2023 season, the safest description is historical unless Monster publishes a newer first-party personal agreement. Existing LH44 cans or merchandise may still appear through secondary sellers, but availability and authenticity vary by country.
Rank #2
5. Bose
Bose appears in the 2021 Mercedes contract document among the team’s sponsor relationships during Hamilton’s Mercedes era. That establishes a prominent team association, not necessarily a separately negotiated consumer endorsement with Hamilton. It belongs on this list because the brand was part of the commercial environment surrounding him, while its classification remains limited.
6. PETRONAS
PETRONAS is the title and technical partner in the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team name. The available evidence is stronger for that team sponsorship than for an independent Hamilton ambassador contract. Its importance is therefore institutional: the brand is inseparable from the team identity under which Hamilton raced, but that does not make every team-facing activation a personal deal.

7. Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG
Hamilton’s Mercedes racing career made Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG foundational to his public and commercial profile. His driver contract and team relationship are highly visible, yet they should not be presented as the same thing as endorsing a specific retail vehicle, finance offer or consumer product. This distinction matters whenever a racing partnership is converted into a shopping claim.
8. IWC’s Formula One film partnership
IWC’s 2024 release says the watchmaker partnered with Apple Original Films’ Formula One feature and that Hamilton served as a producer through Dawn Apollo Films. This is an entertainment crossover built around the IWC relationship, not an eleventh watch contract. It demonstrates how a brand can extend a driver partnership into film without creating a separate consumer endorsement category.
9. TommyXLewis collections
Tommy Hilfiger says Hamilton co-created four TommyXLewis collections. Those collections fuse his personal style with the brand’s American heritage and are commercially different from a standard ambassador appearance: the collaboration produces named apparel ranges that shoppers can seek out. Stock, sizing and regional availability depend on the collection and retailer.
10. The Hamilton-era Mercedes partner ecosystem
The 2021 contract PDF lists a wider group of Mercedes-era partners, including PUMA, Tommy Hilfiger, Monster Energy, Bose and IWC. Treat this as a historical sponsor ecosystem rather than ten independently verified personal endorsements. It explains why Hamilton’s name and image can appear beside many brands even when the underlying agreement belongs to the team.
Best Value
Which relationships are clearly personal?
- IWC Schaffhausen: the brand explicitly identifies Hamilton as an ambassador from 2013.
- Tommy Hilfiger: its newsroom page calls him a global brand ambassador.
- PUMA: the 2019 corporate release calls him a brand ambassador for that period.
- TommyXLewis: the four collections are co-created products, not just sponsor placement.
The remaining entries are team-linked, historical or partnership extensions. Their visibility should not be used to infer a current personal contract, endorsement fee or exclusivity arrangement.
What can fans actually buy?
- Watches: IWC Pilot’s Watch models connected with Hamilton’s ambassador storytelling.
- Clothing: TommyXLewis apparel where a collection or retailer still has stock.
- Motorsport gear: PUMA racing apparel and footwear, subject to current range and regional availability.
- Beverage memorabilia: historical LH44 Monster Energy products, with availability varying by market and seller.
Product availability is not evidence that the associated endorsement remains active. Check the brand’s current product and campaign pages, the sale region and the date of any announcement before treating an item as current.
What the evidence does not establish
- There is no audited ranking proving that these are Hamilton’s ten highest-value deals.
- No reliable total for his endorsement income is established here.
- A sponsor logo on a Mercedes car, suit or press image does not prove a personal agreement.
- A historical product such as LH44 should not be described as a current launch without a new first-party announcement.
Bottom line
IWC and Tommy Hilfiger are the clearest long-form personal partnerships, with PUMA documented as a personal ambassador relationship for the period covered by its 2019 release. TommyXLewis adds genuine product co-creation, while Monster Energy, Bose, PETRONAS, Mercedes and the wider sponsor portfolio require historical or team-sponsorship qualifications. That distinction is the most accurate way to read Hamilton’s “top 10” endorsements.
