“Hasbro’s Transformers Beyblades” refers here to a specific BEYBLADE X collaboration: Takara Tomy’s BX-00 double starter, pairing Optimus Prime and Megatron-themed spinning tops. It includes two launchers, but not the stadium needed to play. The Japanese listing described it as a limited-channel release, so its launch details should not be read as a guide to current availability.
What is the Transformers BEYBLADE X set?
The confirmed product is Takara Tomy’s BX-00 double starter. It contains two character-themed BEYBLADE X tops: Optimus Prime 4-60P and Megatron 4-80B. Despite the franchise crossover, these are Beyblade tops themed around Transformers characters—not transforming robot toys. Takara Tomy’s official BX-00 listing identifies the set and its contents.
The product page gives a planned Japan release date of May 17, 2025, and a tax-inclusive launch price of ¥4,180. Those are historical launch details, not a current price or confirmation that the set is still available.
What comes in the box—and what you still need
- Included: Optimus Prime 4-60P, Megatron 4-80B, and two entry launchers.
- Not included: a stadium. Takara Tomy says a BEYBLADE X series stadium is sold separately.
If you already own a BEYBLADE X stadium, check the manufacturer’s compatibility information for that specific arena before assuming it is suitable. The BX-00 listing requires a BEYBLADE X series stadium; it does not establish compatibility with every arena or accessory.

Why BEYBLADE X uses a stadium rail
BEYBLADE X tops use the X-Celerator Gear System: a top’s gear engages a stadium rail to produce an Xtreme Dash. This rail-based action is part of the play system, rather than a Transformers-specific feature. The official BEYBLADE X North America site describes the system and provides a separate setup example: its Xtreme Battle Set includes an Xtreme Beystadium measuring 17.2 × 14 inches (43.8 × 35.5 cm) and two tops. That set is not the BX-00 collaboration package.
Where was BX-00 sold?
Takara Tomy labels the BX-00 product a Takara Tomy Mall/Seven Net limited item on its Japanese listing. That describes the stated sales channel and region; it does not establish current stock, availability outside Japan, or whether a particular retailer has it now. No current retailer offer or price is confirmed here.

No. Takara Tomy warns against playing with this product alongside other Beyblade series, explicitly including Burst, because doing so may cause injury or damage. Follow the manufacturer’s warning rather than mixing the series in a battle.

The Transformers BX-00 is a two-top collaboration starter with two launchers and a separately sold stadium requirement. A general BEYBLADE X starter set can provide a stadium, but that does not make it part of the Transformers product or prove compatibility with BX-00 beyond the maker’s stated requirement. Hasbro’s March 21, 2025 announcement discussed other BEYBLADE X products, including the Clash and Carry Stadium and a Drop Attack Battle Set planned for fall 2025; those were separate product announcements, not evidence of present availability or additional Transformers models. Hasbro’s announcement is historical context, not a current stock listing.
