The Wild Robot’s official material presents an animated story about a robot encountering the natural world—not a confirmed mashup with other animated bots. The official pages identify the film’s premise and creators, but do not name the other characters or establish that a crossover-style clip exists.
What the official description says about The Wild Robot
Universal describes the film as “a powerful story about the discovery of self, a thrilling examination of the bridge between technology and nature and a moving exploration of what it means to be alive and connected to all living things.” The description makes the meeting of technology and nature central, alongside self-discovery and connection. Universal’s official trailer page credits Chris Sanders as writer-director and Jeff Hermann as producer.
The film adapts Peter Brown’s book The Wild Robot, according to Universal. That source establishes the story’s literary origin; it does not identify a trailer mashup with characters from other animated films.
Are other animated robots in the trailer mashup?
The official pages reviewed do not identify the specific “mashup,” list any other animated bots, or say whether a clip is an official studio edit or a fan-made video. Without the clip or its originating article, naming characters or attributing the edit to Universal or DreamWorks would be speculation.

The headline’s phrase “mashes up all your favorite animated bots” should therefore be treated as a description of the headline, not a verified account of the footage. The reliable details available are about the film itself: its source book, creative credits, and themes.
