Perth couple Amanda “Bloom” Canzurlo and James Morley earned chair turns from Jessica Mauboy and Rita Ora with a rock-influenced blind-audition version of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” on The Voice Generations in January 2022. They chose Mauboy’s team.
Who were Bloom and James on The Voice Generations?
Bloom is Amanda Canzurlo, and James is James Morley. They appeared as a Perth couple in the Australian competition series, which brought performers from different generations together. Contemporary coverage in January 2022 described them as engaged and nearly two decades apart in age; that age-gap description came from Bloom, not a separately calculated figure. PerthNow’s report covered their audition and the coaches’ response.

What did they sing, and who turned?
The pair performed Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” with a rock-influenced arrangement. Mauboy and Ora turned their chairs, and PerthNow reported that the performance received a standing ovation.
Ora praised the connection between the singers, saying, “You can tell it’s genuine love that’s coming across when you’re singing together . . . you were both looking at each other, it was almost like none of us were here.”
