Seven announced a four-coach panel for the 14th season of The Voice Australia on 29 January 2025: Melanie C (Mel C), Richard Marx and Ronan Keating joined returning coach Kate Miller-Heidke. Sonia Kruger was also set to return as host. This is a historical 2025 lineup, not the current season’s panel.
Who coached The Voice Australia in 2025?
| Coach | Role in the 2025 Australian panel | Background noted in Seven’s announcement |
|---|---|---|
| Melanie C (Mel C, Sporty Spice) | New addition | Seven described her as an international chart-topping artist and Spice Girls member. Seven’s announcement also made promotional claims about the group’s sales and debut album. |
| Richard Marx | New addition | Seven described him as a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and cited songs including “Right Here Waiting” and “Hazard.” Its release also says he has written 14 number-one hits across multiple genres. |
| Ronan Keating | New addition to the 2025 panel | Seven called him a multi-platinum hitmaker returning to the Australian edition after a nine-year break. |
| Kate Miller-Heidke | Returning coach | Seven described her as a genre-crossing singer-songwriter and noted that she represented Australia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. |
The January announcement’s descriptions of artists and career achievements are Seven’s biographical claims. The lineup itself was for season 14, produced by ITV Studios Australia for the Seven Network.

When did the 2025 season premiere?
Seven’s 8 August 2025 release scheduled the season premiere for Sunday, 10 August, at 7:00 p.m. on Seven and 7plus. The Australian network release did not specify a timezone. The announcement described the programme as its 14th season.
How did Seven describe the previous season’s audience?
In its August 2025 release, Seven reported audience figures for the 2024 season, not the newly announced 2025 season. The broadcaster said the 2024 series reached 10.6 million Australians across an 11-week run, with 9% year-on-year growth on 7plus. Seven also reported that the 2024 Grand Finale reached 2.31 million Australians and had a national total TV audience of 1.08 million. These are broadcaster-reported figures.

Is this the current Voice Australia panel?
No. The coach names and premiere date above refer specifically to the 2025 season. The official The Voice Australia ticketing page, crawled in October 2026, refers to the 15th season in 2026; it does not make the 2025 lineup a current-season announcement.
