In a report published January 6, 2024, CNA said Ora dismissed rumors that she and Lipa had a poor relationship. Ora also expressed interest in making music with Lipa, Bebe Rexha, and Ava Max, describing the idea as a way to “represent.” CNA’s report is the clearest located public account of the subject.

Ora said she had met with Rexha and Max, but had not met Lipa as often. CNA reported her response as: “Yes. With Ava Max and Bebe we got together” and “Not so much with Duane, but it would be nice if we all did something great together. Just to represent.” The English-language report spells the name “Duane”; that spelling is retained here because it appears in the published quotation.
Why the singers were compared
Ora said comparisons were natural because, in her view, there were not many Albanian artists in that part of show business. CNA quoted her: “So now we have Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha. I think it’s a natural thing when people compare, especially because there aren’t many of us in that part of the showbiz world.” That is Ora’s explanation, not an independently measured claim about the number of artists.
