They married on December 21, 1996, according to ABC. In December 2024, Gordon marked their 28th wedding anniversary with an Instagram message that ABC quoted: “Happy 28th Wedding Anniversary to this amazing Woman , love you so much ❤️❤️❤️”
How did Gordon Ramsay meet Tana?
The accounts are retrospective and differ in detail. A 2008 Guardian profile says they met at a New Year’s Eve party when Tana was engaged to someone else, then began dating after encountering each other again. In a 2026 account of the Netflix documentary Being Gordon Ramsay, The Independent reports that Gordon recalled meeting her while she was dating his friend. The documentary account says they talked through the night; Gordon jokingly credited food with winning her over.
Tana’s recollection in the documentary was less flattering at first: “I didn’t like him. I thought he was really arrogant, really full of himself. He used to really irritate me.” These are the couple’s later accounts of their early encounters, not independently verified details of a single meeting.

How many children do Gordon and Tana Ramsay have?
They have six children: Megan, twins Holly and Jack, Matilda, Oscar, and Jesse, ABC reported in 2024. In remarks on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast quoted by ABC, Tana said that having a large family was a shared ambition: “It was always how I envisaged my life, and luckily, Gordon felt the same. I was only 18 when I met Gordon, but we very quickly both realized that was our dream … to have a big family and be parents and enjoy life in that way.”
ABC’s family account also reported that Tana had been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and that the couple used IVF. Tana recalled that twins Holly and Jack were born prematurely. These are personal medical and birth details reported in connection with the family’s story; they do not establish a general account of fertility or treatment.

What have they said about making time for each other?
In an August 2024 interview reported by The Independent, Tana described a routine the couple had set for themselves while raising children. She said their anniversary present to each other was a commitment “to go to the theater once a month.” She also said: “And we have to go out three times a month, and we’re not allowed to wear trainers.”
Tana explained that dressing up and going out gave them time to talk about one another as well as the children. This is her account of their approach, not proof of what their relationship is like in private or a formula that applies to other couples.

What is known about allegations concerning the marriage?
The Guardian’s 2008 profile mentioned affair allegations but described them as unconfirmed. That reporting does not establish that the allegations were true, and they should not be presented as fact. Public anniversary messages and interviews document what the Ramsays have chosen to share; they cannot fill in the private history of a marriage.
